A deck takes the worst of the Carolina year: sun on it all afternoon, rain, pollen, and the freeze at the end of it. Carolina Superior Painting washes the wood down and lets it dry properly, sands back the rough grain and whatever finish is failing, then works a stain or a sealer into the boards rather than laying it on top. Rails, spindles, columns and the porch ceiling can be painted in the same visit, so the whole structure gets finished together instead of in two trips.

Both, and which one suits depends on the wood. Stain soaks in and leaves the grain showing; paint sits on the surface and covers it. Bare and weathered boards usually take stain, while rails, spindles and columns are often painted. Rob will walk it with you and say which he would put on yours.
Yes, and then left to dry. A finish put over a damp or dirty board will not hold, and that is the most common reason a deck needs doing again far too soon.
That depends on how much sun and rain that particular deck takes and what goes on it. A deck in full afternoon sun will want attention sooner than a covered porch. Rob will tell you what to expect for yours when he looks at it, rather than quote a number here.
Yes, and it is worth doing together. Ceiling, columns, rails and trim are one setup and one lot of masking, so doing them in the same visit costs less work than splitting them.
Screens and glass get masked off before any coat goes on, along with the plants and the siding around the work.
